How to Play

See a photo of a real person. Pick the country they're from — before the timer runs out.

Levels 1 → 10

Level 1 is world-famous celebrities. Later levels bring in athletes, scientists, business leaders, politicians and harder international figures. Get 3 correct answers in a row to level up.

A round, step by step

  1. A photograph of a real person appears with their name and profession.
  2. Four country buttons, each with its national flag, sit below the photo.
  3. A circular 10-second timer starts counting down the moment the photo is visible.
  4. Tap the country you think they're from. Correct answers turn green with a short celebration; wrong answers reveal the correct country in green.
  5. A profile card shows a fun fact and cultural context for the person. Tap Next when you're ready to continue.

The scoring formula

Every correct answer earns a flat +100 base points. A speed bonus rewards fast thinking: +50 if you answer with 8–10 seconds still on the clock, or +25 with 5–7 seconds left. Wrong answers score zero and cost one of your three lives.

Streaks stack extra bonuses. A run of five correct answers in a row triggers a +200 streak bonus. Reach ten in a row and the bonus jumps to +500. Missing a single question resets the streak counter, so consistency matters as much as speed.

Level progression

The game unfolds across ten levels of increasing difficulty. Level 1 draws only from the most globally recognized figures — the kind of faces almost everyone has seen. As you progress, the pool widens to include Olympic athletes, celebrated scientists, foreign-language filmmakers, business founders and journalists whose fame is real but more regional.

You need three correct answers in a row to advance a level. Between levels, a summary screen shows your score, accuracy and best streak, and a Next Level button lets you continue whenever you're ready.

Endless Mode

Once you've beaten Level 10, Endless Mode unlocks permanently on your device. There are no level breaks and no difficulty caps — the game pulls from the full pool of over 1,000 people until you run out of lives. It's the fastest way to see how far your world knowledge really reaches.

Strategy tips

  • Read the wrong answers. Distractors are picked from the same continent as the correct country — narrowing the region can rule out two options instantly.
  • Trust the first instinct. Speed bonuses reward decisive play, and second-guessing usually costs more points than an occasional miss.
  • Use the profile cards. The fun fact after each answer is the fastest way to build a mental map of who comes from where.
  • Play daily, not marathon. Short sessions build real recall; long ones just tire your eyes.
